.. then get straight down to business.

A spontaneous day trip to Speyer is always possible. But especially on weekends or during the months of May, June, September and October, the restaurants or wine bars can get quite crowded.

That's why we recommend planning ahead, even if you're not staying overnight. Booking accommodation and reserving a table at a restaurant in advance will save you the hassle of searching for a place when you arrive. You can certainly make better use of your time.

You can find out about available accommodation in hotels or vacation homes and apartments online in our reservation system, or you can contact our hosts directly. If you can't find anything online for your desired dates, that doesn't mean that all our accommodation providers are already fully booked.
This is where we at the Tourist Information Office come in. Give us a call or send us an email and let us know what you're looking for. We'll then help to find a suitable bed for you. We know our accommodation providers, can advise you and, in the best case scenario, book you in straight away.

The same applies to guided tours in Speyer: Demand is high. To ensure that a guide is available on the day you want to visit Speyer with your group, or that you can still take part in a public tour, you should book in advance. We at the Tourist Information Office can also help you with this. Please notice that public tours are held in German language. However there are public tours in English on Saturdays from September till mid October.
