A truly unique leisure experience: Discover goshawks, little owls, barn owls, white-tailed eagles and many more.
Since 2021, the Iwersen family has fulfilled their dream of running their own falconry centre in their home town of Speyer.
The falconry is currently home to over 30 birds of prey. These include the goshawk, the Harris’s hawk, the little owl, the barn owl and the white-tailed eagle.
Courtney and Thorsten Iwersen and their team are actively involved in falconry, bird of prey conservation, breeding, as well as public engagement.
The “Birds of Prey” team regularly visits schools to get even the youngest children excited about birds of prey. They also travel to a wide variety of events with the birds.
Every Sunday between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., you can enjoy a guided tour and a show. Information on events and special opening hours can be found on the website.
